A childhood friend moved out to Montana a while back. For the past decade, we have talked about me coming out to go hunting and finally made it happen. I’m not an experienced bird hunter, but I have always enjoyed being outdoors and watching a dog. After flying into Bozeman yesterday, we drove north for many hours.
William found approximately 14 pheasants, about 19 Huns, a half dozen sharp tails, and two porcupines. Unfortunately, we didn’t get any good shots.
If you zoom in, you can see some antelope we saw grazing near the BMA box.
Keep on keepin’ on…
William was super excited to get back in the field.
We’ll get back after it tomorrow morning and hopefully get some good shots.
