$999 about the average starting point for any worth-while body?

I've burned through some cash I had ear marked for a camera. And kinda drug my feet and lost motivation with Olympus being somewhat up in the air.

Seems all decent camera bodies are right at $999 for openers. Pretty much true?

They have #1 market share in Japan the last 2 months and they are #3 in the USA for mirrorless cameras behind Canon and Sony. They have the BEST image stabilization and the most weatherproof lenses on the market

Used Olympus E M-1 II bodies are weather sealed and go for about $600-650 used.

Seems like it. I was just shopping and ended up with a used A7RII. Really like it so far but it seemed every brand was around that $1K price point for what I wanted.
