95 TMKs are in stock!!!

After being sold on the 95 TMK in 6mm for hunting by @Formidilosus, I've been waiting for them to come in stock for what feels like over a year. I was pleasantly surprised to wake up to an in stock notification email.

If anyone has been looking for them, they are in stock at multiple online retailers, if anyone else has been looking. Not sure about forum rules for posting retailer websites, but I'm showing 8 sites with inventory, I'm sure others will follow as shipments come in.

Has anyone actually shot animals with these? I am tempted to shoot them at an elk instead of 108s but I’m not positive I want to go into it without shooting a deer with one first

Yes. They are one of the most destructive bullets made- especially if you hit bone.

They can be a bit touchy or finicky at times. They shoot well enough, but I haven’t seen a rifle just truly group tiny with them (granted I haven’t shot that many rifles with them).

I just sent 200 95 TMKs bullets and starline brass to @Unknown Munitions to load up for this season out of my 1:8 243 tikka. I will be able to get a few white tail before I head to Colorado for mule deer in November and cow elk in Wyoming in December.

How does this work? They prime, choose a random powder/charge/seating depth and you hope it shoots well? Did you send the rifle too? Considering the 95tmk has been unobtainium for last 3-4 years, near zero data out there with 8tw 243s.

I asked for h4350 and CCI 200 primers if they had them. And requested between 40-42 grains with their recommendation for OAL around (assuming around 2.8).

I’ve seen some load data elsewhere with TMKs so I used it as a reference but I could be wrong. I may have seen a load @Formidilosus posted somewhere.

I’ve had loaded ammo from them in the past so I trust they get it right. But to your point, I’m not sure how they will shoot in the 1:8
