I know this is a couple months old. I was wondering what rifle you are shooting these out of? I have a Howa mini with the 1/7.5 twist that I am thinking about using them in. I just don't know what kind of accuracy to expect.N540 ended up being the go to powder for the 95 TMK in my dad's 6 ARC. 20" barrel @ 2750
Its a howa mini as well. It shot really wellI know this is a couple months old. I was wondering what rifle you are shooting these out of? I have a Howa mini with the 1/7.5 twist that I am thinking about using them in. I just don't know what kind of accuracy to expect.
How much Varget you run? Feel free to message me directly if you don't wanna post it here. Thanks.95tmk and 6ARC are perfect for each other.
30gr lever had them 2700 in 16” gasser for me. Shot two whitetail last year with them (Varget around 2650fps MV) both impact velocity 2500-2550 bang flops.
18” barrel bolt gun with a good suppressor, excellent ungulate medicine out to 500 yards
Thread '6mm ARC Temp Stable Powders' https://rokslide.com/forums/threads/6mm-arc-temp-stable-powders.427687/Bumping this up. Any other shorter barre bolt action velocity data?
my howa mini in 6 arc really likes the TMK, im sending them at 2950 from a 20 inch tube. I havent sent one at a deer yet but i can tell you they hit coyotes hard, folded one like a cheap tent in May at 720 yards.Thinking of buying a box of 95 grain TMKs or Bergers for my 6 arc AR. 108 eldms are shooting ok. But from what I understand the 95 TMK is softer. Also thinking about Berger classics as I've had a lot of luck with Berger.
From what I've read and talking to Avery the Sierra has a slightly more forgiving opening window under 1800 fps.
With my AR shooting 108's around 2500 fps 1800 gets me to 500. Which isn't bad at all. Fits my needs. But wouldn't mind a little more.
