I bought these from them last week and was able to use them on my pig hunt this weekend. WOW, hands down best boots I have ever worn. The feel bomb-proof and are the most comfortable hunting boots I have ever worn. Never going back to Danner, I am sold on these guys.

Yeah great boots for sure. I bought the Hanwag Ancash when STP had a screaming deal on them. Love their boots and fit is very good for my long narrow boot due to the DEEP pull speed lace at the ankle flex point. Really comfortable and very stable from arch to ankle. Wish they were slightly more stiff but really not an issue, they are very supportive. Not really sure what the difference between the Ancash and Alaska is, the guy at Hanwag couldn't really even tell me. Alaska is classified as a "heavy backpacking" boot and the Alaska a "trekking" which to me sounds like the Alaska wouldn't be a stiff. The guy at Hanwag US made them sound like they were basically the same. Anyway great boot. Looking for a spare pair since I like the others so well.

It's the other way around. 9.5 UK=10 US. I wear a 11 in Hanwags, and an 11.5 in US sizes.

ok got it now. problem tho 9uk is 343+19.99 ship which would work for me the 9.5uk is 227 free ship?????? guess will get some more miles out of my saloman wings
