9.3 X 62 modification

9.3X62 is a standard bolt face at 0.470 rim diameter (CIP print), so anything in 30-06, .270 Win etc. Very easy conversion on a standard long action.

A couple of comments on that cartridge. It was developed in the days of the 98 Mauser action and was intended to be a simple conversion from the 8mm Mauser cartridge.

It benefits from a longer magazine like you can find in a Winchester M70, CZ550 or Remington 700. The heavier bullets in the 286-300gr class can be a bit long as spitzers (they were originally only round nose) and you'll struggle to get to 2600fps with the longer ones in a 3.34" magazine. If the mag will go to 3.5"+, you will get a lot of freedom to reload for best results.

I built a rifle in the bigger brother 9.3X64 Brenneke on a VZ24 action and it's a go anywhere, do anything rifle. Yours would be the same.
