Thanks for the heads up and you did grab my attention with this. I'm not terribly familiar with Leica binos but did some reading on the 8x50s for sale at the link you posted. I'm sure they're great but will stick with Meopta for now. 8x50s are more than I think I'd want to carry.

I spent a week hunting in Idaho this fall and spent quite a bit of time behind my 8x42 Meostars, which I really enjoyed. I'd like to get a second pair since they're no longer sold in the US. Meopta never made the 8x42 with HD lenses, but they did in the Cabela's Euro instinct line.
