22 Creed.
I'll edit.

22 Creedmoor.
I had to put a barrel back on and I forgot it was 1:7.5 and didn’t notice that until it was torqued and out of the vise. I’m at the sea-est of the levels so I figured let’s see if it’ll do it. (I have an 18” 1:7 too)
It's almost summer here. If you haven't experienced SEUSA yellow pine pollen its something else. I'm wearing my Duckworth Vapor Hoody today too.

45gr Staball HD 2693fps. This was listed as a "Max Load" from that chart someone posted that Sierra said we should follow. I need 2775 to get quick drop at 0 elevation but man look at that group.

I'm back on that crappy brass I've been nursing and had a case head failure on the first round and partial on the second.
I'm tempted to stuff a few more grains in there and tap it down or get crunch to see if I can get 2775 but I really want to cut this barrel down to 14" so unfortunately another swing and a miss for Staball HD around here.
I think the numbers we are using from that chart are low.Ah seemed slow for an 18" with an 88gr pill?
I'm thinking about tossing my 16.5 22CM 1:8 for a 16.5 22GT 1:7, but I want to get atleast 2800 or so.
Told you they shoot.
The 88gr ELD-M is dead.
Did you guys kill with them on those culling trips? I couldn’t find any 88 reports
For deer - between the 88 and 95, 2600-2800 muzzle velocity, inside 500 yards, do you have a preference? Or pick your poison?I have. Limited, but produced very good wounds. The 22CM and other fast .22’s have needed a proper bullet, and they have it now.

I’m seeing 3070fps w 18” and 45.5gr Grand as posted above.What velocity should a top load in a 16" to 18" 22CM reach? I've got RS Grand, RL26, H1000, N555, Retumbo, IMR7977, H4831sc, RS Hunter and some 88's are waiting for me at home.
