Both my grandfather’s fought in the pacific theater. Neither owned a Japanese product until the day they died. Every year I remind my small children about Dec 7 and what the Japanese did and to never forget.

Well, I applaud that you got the day right, but the quote in the first meme is wrong and there is no evidence (other than Internet memes) that Yamamoto ever said what is in the second meme. No offense meant, but details matter.

The Greatest Generation et al saved Europe, and maybe even our great country, there is no doubt and we should all pause for a minute to remember all that made sacrifices, with 100's of thousands making the ultimate sacrifice, for the greater good of humanity.
