Why do mag options suck so much for this action? The only thing I’ve found that work are the 5rd metal AICS mags for 300WM fron MDT. Someone rescue me…..

I had the same dilemma for my Weatherby in 7PRC. It came factory with a 5 round MDT that didn’t feed well, was noisy and was bulky. I found a 3 round and a 5 round from Accurate-mag that works much much better and quieter.

mdt also has a polymer option for a COL of 3.850. mine is 3.715 so Metal was my only option.

That's the only one unfortunately for a Tikka with 3.560 coal. I think it was 7oz when I weight it. Kinport peak rifles will cut it if you want for 120$ to make it fla 3 round but I don't know how much weight it saves . No idea why MDT won't make a polymer la 3.560 mag for tikka

I had kinport shave my tikka 5rd down to a 3rd also and don’t regret it. Weight savings aside, it’s flush with the bottom of my xlr chassis now and that was the big benefit I was going for.
