7PRC reloader 19

Has any of the shorter barreled 7prc guys tried rl19 as an alternative to n560, according to grt its a very close subsitute

Have not tried rl19

but rl25, retumbo, and ramshot grand have easily gotten my 7prc over 3000fps with 162 eldx and 169HH

Never tried 19 but the slower the powder the better for the 7PRC, so N570, 565, RL26, Retumbo, H1000 are the go to.Any powder will work, just know there are better options. Even for the lightest 7mm bullets, RL19 is not listed. I imagine it will be slightly too fast. So really reduced loads. You'll probably have high SD's

N560 loads are about 10g less than loads for H1k on light bullets. On heavies H1K and 560 are about the same charge weight

I can add that h1000, for whatever reason, was very slow with 169hh out of my 22in proof. H4831sc as well, no bueno. Magpro had potential if I pushed it.

RL25 or 26 will certainly get the job done, if you can find any or pony up $200/lb on gun broker.

I would certainly try ramshot grand though. My velocities and accuracy was as good as any. That's what I'm running in my 162eldx target rounds and backup hunting ammo. I found a nice fat node near max charges with both bullets. Rings my gong at 902yd. 3030fps. Don't forget that Peterson or adg brass and Magnum primers

I’m gonna be testing Ramshot grand shortly but with heavier bullets (175eldx,175elite hunter)

Had really good results in a 270wsm with that powder hoping for the same in 7PRC. Looking to push a 22” barrel 2850-2900 with 175’s
