7PRC feeding issues Magpul AICS

Recently started shooting a 7PRC (rebarreled from 7mag) R700. Feeds fine from the expensive accurate mags but most of the Magpul AICS mags don’t feed very well, the rounds keep diving forward and the followers are binding up inside the magazine, I’ll see if I can recreate it and attach a picture. Anyone having a similar problem?

I just saw this on a build I did. Only happened as I was shooting, recoil was moving the rounds forward in the magazine. I found another thread that talked about stretching the mag springs, they said it fixed it. I tried it but haven’t been able to shoot it again yet. I tried hitting the nose of the stock to simulate recoil with one mag that I stretched the spring in and one I didn’t. It seemed to fix the problem.

Unfortunately its just an issue you run into with the Polymer magazines. They are not easily tuneable like the metal magazines. You can file the front of the feed lips to open them up but go slow since you cannot add the material back. If you have someone locally that has tuned a lot of magazines I would recommend taking it to them. Its a relatively quick job but its easy to screw up if you do not have much experience.
