I recently rebarreled a sako 85 finnlight at Benchmark Barrels from 300wm to 7PRC (24” barrel). I’m shooting factory 175 grain Accubond LR ammo (Forster was out of die sets and there weren’t very many components available last year and I found factory ammo) Im getting great accuracy and speed results.
Should I let it be and just buy a case of that ammo or can I get another 50 to 100fps out of it by reloading. I don’t feel pressure to tinker necessarily but I do like the the idea of having small wind a trajectory advantages. This is strictly a hunting rifle so I would be using temp stable powders. Anyone in the same boat that learned something they would share?
