7mm rem mag

So my round of choice (factory) has been hsm 168gr Berger vlds… I can not find it anywhere for some reason so it’s looking like I’m going to have to either dust off the ole reloading table or find a similar round. Any ideas?

Hope you have plenty of primers, powder and projectiles if your backup plan is to reload for it

Check Pendelton ammunition. My sons shoot their 180 berger VLD hunters from their 7 mm mags. Super accurate.

H1000 and 168 VLD, 160 accubond, and 162 eld-x were all easy tuning in 2 of my 7mm's. H4831SC works too, just not the best case density unless seated deep. Probably gonna pay hell finding much of anything in the mid range 284 flavor at the moment, but I did manage to secure 300 162 eld-m not too long ago. If you keep checking you can find stuff.

probably going to be hard to find, if you don't already have this stuff, but I'm loading the 195 Bergers with RL26 and getting 3000fps +/- a fps or two. Unfortunately, the 195's are hard to find right now, but the 180s seem to be in stock in a lot of places (if you have the powder/primers). good luck in the search

I hoping the hot ticket is Barnes 145 LRX in my 7 mag. They sure shoot good groups and perform well at the range out to 1000 yards.

Its a Carbon Hunter from RBROS. Its the first rifle Ive loaded for and Im really happy with the results. I went all the way up to 68.6 without any signs of pressure, but I was already way past where I was "supposed" to be, so I backed off some.
