7mm Rem Mag Norma Bondstrike Velocity?

Anybody chrono'd 165 Factory Bondstrike 7RM? I could only find one post about it and he got something like 200fps slower than the box claims. I'm wondering if that was a fluke or if it's typical.

I'd love to hear what velocity you got and what your barrel length is.

It is going to vary due to many different factors. The only true test is to chronograph those loads out of your gun, or shoot them at known distances and back calculate the velocity based on your measured drops, but keep in mind even that is going to vary based on environmental conditions.

I’ve never shot the bondstrike, but I did shoot the 160 gr Tipstrike. It’s on the box as 3000 fps, but my rifle averaged 2942. I was pleased with it, until I discovered my rifle will shoot the fed 168 Berger into .5 groups all day long. I’m going to be selling it and a good bit of Fed TA as soon as I get my post count up. Always been a lurker, but have always enjoyed reading the content here.
