Note: I have no relationship to Hawkins Precision except for a part I ordered from them which got me on their mailing list.

If you follow the link, it will take you to some load data they published. I take no personal responsibility for anything they published. You must decide for yourself if they are a trustworthy source.

190's from a 24 inch tube doing mid 3000's with a case capacity that's only around 80gr H20 seems very fast so I'd say well done. That's 28 Nosler territory and the big Nosler case has substantially more case capacity.

I recently called Hawkins about the Hunter magazine in 7PRC (the answer was that it works great btw), but I was asking about the cartridge a little bit and he said he got over 3000 fps from a 22" carbon benchmark with Hornady factory ammo. Just crazy! I'm not normally one to jump on new cartridges, but I think I will with this one.

I wonder how many firings @HawkinsPrecision has on that brass now? Isn't there an issue with some PRC and SAUM cartridges getting clicky brass after a few firings?
Yes have seen no issues with brass sizing causing a click at the top of the bolt. We have brass with 1-2 firings on it. This test was done with brand new brass. We shot NF ELR with brass with one firing on it. Using TS Customs reamer.

I noticed in one of the action review threads @Travis Bertrand mentioned TS chambered the 6.5 PRC and they used a reamer spec'd to address clickers so wouldn't be surprised if they spec'd their reamer similarly for the 7. I saw that TS is also selling custom dies to people who buy 7 PRC builds.
