I am just starting to reload and have bought h1000 powder. With everything I've read people suggest accubonds and Barnes ttsx. I'm hoping to get some guidance on good all around deer round. I'm hopefully going to go coues deer hunting and need to have some long range performance. All help is appreciated as I am brand new to reloading.

Both bullets would be great options for deer sized game. Good luck finding accubonds right now though. I've shot both bullets and they have great performance and accuracy. Deer sized game shouldn't require a very tough bullet. Find what your gun likes and shoot it.

I would go with the GKs for coues deer. I like ABs a lot too but there is no need to spend double for premium bullets like ABs in that application and GKs shoot terrific. Sierra has recently gotten some of their 165 gr tipped GKs out the door but they are all gone now it seems. Maybe the production run is still ongoing and they will be available again soon.

I would go with the hammer hunter bullets in 131 gr or 143’s h4350 will get the 131’s at 3500 fps.

165 sierra tipped gamekings would be awesome for deer in the 7 rem mag. Have had excellent performance out of the 150’s on deer/coyote sized game in my 7-08 and the 165’s just came back in stock after 3 years.

Not sure what elevation you will be hunting at but if you are at a little higher elevation Id go with a 175 EH

A lot of answers here- I really like the 168 VLD it performs well and is easily the most accurate bullet in my rifle.

140 or 160gr. nosler partitions.
I buy blems and have not had any issues with them in accuracy in my hunting loads.

I'd say 500-700 is a possibility

Take a hard look at the 162 eldx. That’s what we use in our 7mm Rem Mags. Great ballistic coefficient and on-game performance. I have no experience with the monos but from what I’ve read they like to be driven fast. Check velocity past 500 yards, they might be on the low end of the velocity performance window.

I had good luck with H1000 and noslers 160 grain Accubond and Partition, neither are necessary for small whitetails and may prove a little tough beyond 400 or 500 yards. I'd have to give the 160 Ballistic Tips a try, the 140 and 150s have shot identical to their accubond.
Starting from zero the 162 eld either one would merit consideration.

I found a few boxes of 140g Accubonds at sportsman's warehouse a few weeks ago on the shelf. No prices on them. Grabbed 2 and a pound of 4831sc (no price on that either. With sales tax it was $200 bucks. I reluctantly crapped myself, but paid it. It's available, but be prepared for the violation. Great bullets though and will work well for you.
