7mm-- 175 Partition or 140 Absolute Hammer for Bison?

Got to looking in to having JES turn one of my rifles into a 9.3x62 for a bison hunt, but I'd be really lucky to get any components to actually be able to shoot the thing these days... so I'll probably use the rifle I already have. I was going to try some Absolute Hammers this year but wasn't sure how the lighter mono might do for the bison compared to the heavy partition
 
175 partition. Been in on the killingnof three of them. Moore bullet is what you want
 
175 Partition, no replacement for displacement on an animal that could weigh well upwards of 1500 pounds on the hoof. I blush to say I would probably not shoot the 200 TTSX from my 35 Whelen AI for that size of critter. I'd bump it up to the 225 TSX or the old original 250 gr X that I squirreled away a few boxes when they quit making them years ago.
