7mm-08 factory loads for moose

I have seen a lot of moose shot including 3 in the last 18 months. I'll add on that they are not hard to kill and you have a larger than normal target. I honestly would feel fine shooting a .243 for them. Hit them in the lungs with any quality hunting bullet and you will have a dead moose. I get trying to find the best so in your shoes, I would likely shoot 140 to 150 grain partitions or accubonds if they were available. I don't really care for the ballistics of anything heavier than 150 grains personally.
I picked up a box from Choice Ammo loaded with 150gr partitions to try with a mix of other options. Thank you for the information.

The Choice 150gr NPT (pictured) and Copper Creek 162gr ELD-x both shot very well. Have more confidence in the NPT due to history, so will plan on using this for the trip. Now to take it out past 100 yards in the coming weeks. Thank you everyone for the input.
