Anyone have a more recent Hogdon manual to check this load. My manual is 40 years old. I worked up a sub .5 moa round for elk hunting in my Remington 700 BDL 7mm RM using H4831sc which my bedded, floated barrel w/oem walnut stock, loves for 140 and 150 grain Nosler partitions, with 63.7 and 64.7 grains respectively producing sub .5moa rounds. For the Nosler 160 AB I started at 63 grains working up until I found my best load at 65.5 grains H4831sc at 3.290 COAL. My Hogdon manual frim the 1980's shows 66.0 grains⁰ to be max load and I see no pressure signs. Their web site data lists lighter max loads but Hogdon also states the H4831sc has never changed, still same other than shorter length powder. I full length resize lightly pushing the shoulder back to fit my chamber. Winchester brass with Rem mag primers. The load worked well on my unit 34 1000005857.jpgNew Mexico Bull, one and done. Quartering towards me double lunged at 130 yds. Ran 50 yds. With my November whitetail buck, i haveplenty of meat in the freezer until next season. Life is good! Sierra 160 spitzer boat tails shot even better with sub .3 moa. in the same load.

Just for reference you can hop on their website and look at load data, they listed 65 grain max for a 168 ABLR, but only had the IMR variant listed for 160 accubond in 7 RM
I have a recent load book from them as well and referenced that with what they had listed online and it checks out.
Nice shooting enjoy the full freezer
