7 PRC thingies

Have any of you discovered any locations with fairy dust and 7 prc reloading dies and such yet. Not worried about components, more interested in the resizing end of things.

A lot of the reloading supplies are not quite available for "non industry" people. Production dies and other "thingies" are slated for 2023 release. You may be able to order from a handful of custom sources or possibly directly from Hornady Custom Shop

thank you sir. I did look at trying to pre order (short of a phone call) and saw no such option. I guess I will wait with all the rest of the peasants.

I saw what appeared to be something with no pics or description so I assumed it was a gimmick to capture a pre order without telling you.

I go to my smith today to pick up my XLR and see my CF barrel for the 7mm PRC he spun up. He should have the reamers in and hopefully start machining this week so I can get my barreled action taken home. Then look at shooting some brass thru the chamber to fire form and then resize for development.

Looks like what I was seeing as Out of Stock and thinking they were placeholders/backorders until shipped were actually products that already sold out. Shows what I know lol. Please share pics of your finished rifle when you're done.

I’ll let you know. When I ordered I think they had 5 sets in stock and I got shipping confirmation yesterday.

My Smith said he just ordered 200 boxes from Hornady. I'm gonna try and pre order some where if nothing else just to get some cases to fire form in my chamber

I built a 7 PRC recently through Gunwerks. I was able to find 10 boxes of ELD-X a few months ago. I’ll have to look back through my history to remember the company that had the ammo in stock at that time.
