I like where you're headed but I'm going steel with mine.

I too like said above have heard the CF barrels can be a little slow. I've only had one and it was on target for velocity expectations of the rifle and very accurate. I haven't heard of any QC issues with Proof but I can point you to one to ask as he sell a bunch of them.

I was just told mine is ready from Alamo Precision rifles. I built a 7PRC to clone my 338 Edge but with a 22 inch barrel vs 28 on the Edge. The Edge weighs 8 on the nose bare rifle so the PRC will be a 6-8 ounces lighter with the shorter barrel.

I prefer the Manners Pro Hunter over the AG which I've had. But will say it's a lot more money for the stock with slight improvements over the AG. And IMO, Manners is an old Indian word for slow delivery time .

APR claims this heavy fluting on a steel Sendero puts it just over the weight of a proof. They've been using it for a couple years now.

If it was me I would be going on a shopping spree at Unknown Munitions and I would buy the following.

All of that is in stock and ready to ship. For $3,305 + shipping

For the barrel I'd get an Osprey Barrel Works prefit from Patriot Valley Arms in the .750 taperless contour

You might not find the trigger any time soon. so a TT or Bix would be the choice

When you build custom everything is so personal and there is a huge selection of quality parts available these days.

That said both my 7PRC and 300PRC are built on Manners PH stocks, I also have a XLR Element 4.0 Magnesium folder I can switch them into. The Manners PH stocks are great. The integrated rails ARCA in front of the mag well and Pic at the end are really nice touches. The Manners PH fits me perfectly. Here is a picture of my "Twins".

The Gunwerks bipod (Gen 2) works perfectly on the pic rail and the ARCA is in the perfect place for attachment to my Two Vets tripod. Putting them together is simple, however I did pay a gunsmith to do the action bedding.

There is a fella on the Longrange Hunting forum that regularly has Manners stocks available including a bunch now but no PHs as far as I can tell.
