7 MM Mag, What is a good all around grain to start with?

I was getting single digit sds with the core lokt tipped factory too in addition to it shooting good groups, I was pleasently surprised. only buck we shot was like 30 yds and he didn't go more than 10 yds before he died.

I’d have to look back at my Garmin but I remember low SD coupled with really good groups

Thank you for all the responses I wasn't expecting this many replies, I asked a similar question for my 300 Win Mag and got a lot more options this time. At the moment I am not set up to reload rifle. My Buddy can and will do it for me but I am just looking for an off the shelf ammo for this rifle.
There is a chance that this rifle will go up to Canada or out west for large game hunts, Probably give the 7MM Mag to my son for those ad I'll use the 300 WM. I have usually leaned towards Federal rounds in my rifles but some shoot Hornady better.

If it was my 7 rem mag and I was only shooting factory ammo I would get a few different loads in the 160 range to try. Do you know what you're looking for on the terminal side?

I don't have anything in mind yet, But I leaning towards the 160 Gr range at this point to try.

Under 300 yards for soft squishy things?!?!?!?!

Id rock the cheapest 140gr cup and core bullet that shot well and fill the freezer.

My dad always rocked the 139 gr interlocks....for no real reason. He's kind of a doofus. But it always scrambled stuff quite thoroughly.
