Buy a Tikka in in 7/08 and rechamber in 284 win if you want added horse power. I personally think its a better cartridge than the 280 ackley

I came damn close to doing that but didn't want to screw up a great shooting 7mm-08 Tikka so I never did it.

I cant blame 7/08 is such a sweet heart with the 162s. But if you get bored, a $150 rechamber job any head stamp lapua brass is just as fun. Just as easy to get to shoot as 7/08 and some pretty impressive performance.
