7 Backcountry success

Just returned from Northern Alberta with our moose. My son connected from 517 yards and dropped the bull with one shot from our new 7 Backcountry by Fierce. The 175 Federal Fusion went through both lungs and stopped exactly on the inside of the skin, opposite side. looked like about 75% of the bullet was intact. Super proud of my son for making that shot!
I'm taking the same gun for elk in two weeks, so hopefully I'll have another report.

I have been intrigued with the concept of the 7 BC since the launch...was waiting for actual hunting stories...this is a great start! Thank you for sharing...not only impressive shot, great bull!

Yes, the casings on this load are matte grey from Federal. Fierce tested and found the 170 grains to be most accurate but when we tested here, between the 170, 175 and 195 grain Bergers, the 175's shot best out of this gun and my buddy's which is an 18" barrel with can. Our rifle grouped 3/4 to 1/2 MOA.
