Sold 6PRC AW2 Reamer

Prefer to rent but would buy one if needed. Trying to help a buddy out with a 6PRC barrel that was cut with an old style reamer and running into pressure/sizing issues. Please let me know if you have one you would be willing to help us out with. Thanks!

Well I don't think Wheeler ever did an official 6 PRC AW 2 so technically you're looking for a reamer with a dimension of 0.5350" at the .200" line. Do you have any idea what the throat dimensions in his gun are? If you don't who knows what you'll get or where you'll end up.

You are correct and waiting on the dimensions for the reamer it was cut with. I know there are a couple variations of custom reamers out there from JGS using the AW2 body dimensions and was hoping to chip in on to split the costs.

I have one being build as we speak.. but it's going to be a 6prc SE is what JGS calls the one I'm getting built. probably 8 weeks out still though sorry

If your going to borrow a reamer from someone, do the right thing. Clean the chamber and throat area down to bare metal before inserting reamer. Carbon rings in the neck and freebore are not friendly to high speed steel.
