I am starting with the 108's but I am open to trying others. I am currently building a 6 ARC AR as well, I'll be exploring the best "killing" options for that caliber in the coming months too.
Yes it does hold together better and that's exactly why I use it. Some of my targets are much larger than a coyote. The LRX will work on caribou and wolves with deep penetration and minimal hide or meat damage.
