6mm ARC?

How about 90 gr. Game Changer?
Meh, if I'm shooting a 90gr it's gonna be a ballistic tip. Game changers have yet to really impress me. Best I've seen was a shoulder shot on a doe with a 130 6.5 that left about a 2 inch hole in the offside meat but through the vitals was only a little over an inch.

Any reason you're looking at the game changer?

Check out the 6mm success thread. Lots of guys using different bullets on everything from antelope to moose. Personally I use 106gr TAP.

Shot 1 deer w/125gr. In '06. Devastating! Accurate!!!

I wouldn't hesitate to use anything in the 87 -107 gr range. Personally, I have a stack of 87 VLDs that look promising. I've been busy focusing on other rounds at the moment, but I'll circle back to the 6 ARC.

If anyone lives in an area with multiple doe tags, I’d love to see a comparison with ELD-VT, Nos Ballistic Tip, and TMK all out of the same 6 arc.
Please and thank you.

Wish I could help. I have factory vt and some bt bullets to load but the 107s are refuse to fly out of mine. Maybe that new PBB 6 arc barrel that’s still in the box at home will though. We can shoot up to 10 does here. Little leary with the vts but they may be fine

I have a few tags, but not those bullets. I have sierra 85 hpgk, 95 sp. Barnes 112 mb, hornady 87 vmax, 105 match, 108 eldm, and berger 88fb and 95 vld. I think some nosler 65bt too.

I’d be down for that challenge!

I can buy up to 4 whitetail doe tags in Wyoming. I usually buy them, but don’t fill them all.

Ive shot deer with the 108 eldm and 103 eldx. Both did a great job. From reading on here, if you can handload, 95 tmk would be great. I'll load some 107 and 116 tmk for my 6 arc this year... seems like your new here. The 22/6mm/ 6.5 success threads are worth a scan through. These "match" bullets are some straight killers. We dont search for deer on the farm since switching to these type bullets.
In those threads you can search specifically for 6 arc, tmk, gamechangers etc.

Ill be using tmk's this year and ill post up pics of the kills. Thus far the factory eld vt hasnt really impressed me on coyotes though. I wouldn't use them on deer from what ive seen.

I put down 4 coyotes with the eldvt in my 22 creed before the barrel burnt out. I was impressed enough to want to see how they do with bigger game and slower velocities.
I was holding front shoulder/hilum for the dogs though. That usually anchors everything regardless of bullet

I have a tikka action with 7-08 barrel I’m thinking of making into 22 creed. Thinking to get a pxt blank and have it chambered since they don’t make a tikka prefit. Hoping that would extend the barrel life. Not sure if the blank has the correct shank size though. Have to research…
