6mm ARC Bolt Rifle finished

Build is as follows:
- Howa Mini Action
- 16.5" 1:7 twist made by Preffered Barrels chambered in 6mm ARC
- Jefferson Bottom Metal
- Outter Impact pic rail
- Ruffs Precision Rings
- Banish Backcountry supressor using a radial brake plan B mount. Which might get swapped to a AB Raptor 6 5.56 (they are bored to 6mm)
- Stock: Stocky Stock Carbon Fiber
- Optic: Leupold Mark 4 HD 2.5-10

Total weight is 7.9lbs but I might add about 6-8 ounces in the back of the stock the balance the rifle a little better. Can't wait to see how she shoots.
Brandon,
Absolutely love your rig brother. Preffered barrel makes outstanding barrels, got a few of them. I have a Howa mini 6.5grendel and about to convert it to 6mm ARC with a preffered. What made you do 1:7 twist vs 1:7.5?

Thank you. A little has changed. It now has a Maven RS1.2 2.5-15 and an Airlock 6.5 can on it. The reason I went with the 1:7 twist is because I want the possibility to shoot the heavy TMKs when they came out. I have yet to see any hindrance to the 1:7 twist but I also only shoot heave for cal bullets. If I was going to shoot lighter weight projectiles I would have gone with a slower twist rate. 5610.jpg

Also I need to update this. The real factory velocities were 100 fps less than what I have posted. I had to get a new chrono but still great for a 16.5" rifle. I am able to push 107 SMK and TMKs at 2600-2615 fps comfortably with Staball Match.
