6mm arc bolt gun deer/speed goat bullet

I am planning to run 106 TAPs in my arc - should be 2750, hoping to stretch to 2800 - we will see. At 2750 and 5000' elevation - 1800 FPS threshold is 700 yards!

I'm starting on a load for a Howa mini, 30g leverevolution under a 108 eldm showed light swipe, 31 was substantial (for me) swipe and slightly heavy bolt lift. No Chrono on either, dead battery.

Hornady book shows 31 as a max in their bolt gun loads fwiw. Going to load a couple at 28 and a couple at 29 and see what we get.

In my mini, I am at 29 grns of lever with the 108 and still get swipes and heavy bolt.

I plan to use 103 eld-x once I’ve gotten through the break in process. Either CFE or lever for me.
