6+ man hot tent options??(not a Seek)

I know when you add in gear and a stove you’re looking to cut the capacity in half. We usually do 3 man trips, so in the market for a 6+ man tent. Tipis seem to be the lightest option.

This will be mostly a base camp type tent but I want it to be somewhat light Incase we want to get a little ways back in (say a half mile). I know Seek is the big name right now, but we will use this tent maybe twice a year.

I planned to do a DIY(I’m pretty crafty lol) but came across Pomoly and wondered if it was worth it/others like it that would save me the time and effort.

I’m looking at $500 max without a stove.
