6.5x55; no eldx available, what else can I use?

I don’t reload just yet and have had good luck with Hendershots for their stuff listed and have also done some load dev on more customized loads for the Swede

I own both 6.5CM and 6.5x55 Swedes. There is not a whiff of difference between them in terms of ballistics. Only difference is you can get good match quality ammo with the 6.5CM and can't really do it with the Swede. I handload 140 ELDM in the swede and it's basically identical velocity and accuracy to the 6.5CM.

The only reason I bought the 6.5CM was I have less and less time to handload for the Swedes now.

The Swede has a somewhat larger case capacity than the CM (57.9 vs. 52.5), so if you don't mind hotrodding the Swede, it should give you some more FPS. I guess the difference is akin to that between 30-06 and 308.
