Gonna be reloading for my 6.4 PRC. What are roksliders fav bullets to use in the 6.5 PRC

Will be hunting mostly whitetail, with Mule Deer and Elk occasoinally when i can afford/have time to go out west.

Leaning towards Accubonds, but what about Hornady? or others?

What has been your experiences?

Good experiences with both 140 TGK and 143 ELD-X. Currently shooting the ELD-X as it was the first bullet I tried and the rifle stacks them. Honestly I would use whatever tipped cup & core your rifle shoots best.

Have been using the 143 eldx. 4 elk, pile of deer. No issues with 3000fps MV. I wouldn’t hesitate to use the 147 eldm as a replacement.

I posted a thread a while back where we tested several different bullets on animals. We have settled on the 156 Bergers. Absolutely love their accuracy and terminal performance. My buddies in wyoming are all shooting 147 ELDM with fantastic results as well on everything up to moose.

To mushy for that speed , I like something with a little stouter jacket
Accubond sounds good, ttsx , terminal accent
This is incorrect. 143 X and 147 M both reliably kill with good wounds and very low animal distance travelled after impact (averaging lower than all the bullets you listed).

An accubond is never a bad choice, the 130's in particular for my rifle. Best all around performer I've tried is the 139 Scenar.....it has no real weakness as it is supremely accurate, easy to load, kicks asss on game.
