I plan to have my 24" barrel 6.5 PRC cut down to accommodate a suppressor. I am gonna cut to 20 or 21" , plan to work up a load with 130 Nosler AB, to help regain the fps loss, I will use the rife primarily for deer and pronghorn.
I am hoping to be in the 2850 fps or hopefully slightly more. Looking for any feedback if any members here have done the same and what kind of velocities they are getting and any particular loads that are shooting well..

I have a 6.5 PRC cut to 20” and it shoots 147gr ELDM 2910 fps with a sig can. I think the chamber is on the tight side though.

I have a 6.5 PRC with a 21" barrel and with a Hyperion K can, factory 130 terminal ascents are going ~2930

It seems reasonable you should hit 28-2850 with 130 ABs. For what it's worth, I have shot several speed goats with 130 ABs out of a creed, and all goats died with one shot, but not as quick as I would have liked (hard to tell which one was hit when they are all running after the shot).

I used a 7PRC with an ELD-M this year and it dropped it in it's tracks as have the 130 VLD-H bullets in my 6.5.

Just my .02 - I was a big accubond fan (still am) but they are not my favorite bullet at least for antelope.

That handloaded or factory? That's quick... My 156 factory loads are going just over 2700.

If handloaded, what's your recipe?

Handloads. H1000 7.5” twist preferred barrel prefit

The 17” barrel was a factory tikka 6.5 creedmoor I had reamed out

These speeds seem pretty lame honestly. My 260AI shoots 147 ELDM @ 2955 with a 24” barrel.

I’d be pretty upset if shooting a magnum class cartridge and not performing much if any better than an intermediate cartridge.

But this seems typical of Hornady hype with the CM & PRC cartridges.

I have an 18” barrel shooting the 147s at 2900. IIRC I had a 16” barrel shooting 156s at 2775/2800. Both are/were hand loads

6 goats here.
Barnes 30 cal 150 grain TTSX.
5/6 DRT. One ran 100 yards but perfect meat saver shot so some run is expected.
Minimal meat loss on all animals.
Just sharing my goat experience with ya.
