Ive got a CA Mesa 6.5 PRC. Wondering what you guys are seeing with your seating depths in the 6.5 PRCs. Im sitting at 2.995 to the lands. Typical I start 20 thousandths off.

Are you asking what seating depth they seem to like? If so, may help to know the bullet you are planning to use. If you are asking the length of the throat, you will get answers all over the board. Will depend on what bullet, as well as how guys had it throated. Both 6.5 PRC's I have loaded for/owned were extremely long throated due to being chambered in long actions and wanting to shoot the 156 berger.

Yes should have mentioned that. 147 ELDMs H1000, 210 primers, Hornady brass, CA short action

My ridgeline liked them 0.040" off the lands. If I were you I would start at 0.010" or 0.020" off the lands and do your own testing. Every gun is different. Plus if you start at 0.010-0.020 off the lands there is really only one way you can go.
