I'm running R-26, 56.2 grains off the top of my head and getting 3085 from a 25" barrel.
It shot 147's really well too but I had issues with them.....

I've got a PRC that does well with a similar load. I use 56.4 grains RL26 with a 143 seated .075" off ~2.920 OAL, ADG case, FED 210M

Precision Rifle Blog did a lot shooting with the 143 and I seem to recall 50 to 7o thou off was the zone for multiple cartridges.

I've been running 47 grains of RL22 ~ 2.954 OAL. It's been shooting between a 1/4 and 1/2 in. 3 shot groups at a 100 yards.

I will be working a load up using N565 and N560 however I will be using 140 elite hunters.

from what I read both powders work good in PRC

I settled on 57.5 grains of N565. 143 ELD-X, .010” off lands (3.005” COAL to tip/2.380” to Ogive) Lapua brass and gm210m primers gave me 2900 FPS and very good groups. This was on a Tikka Veil barrel. Not crazy fast but very accurate.

H4831sc at 53.5gr, 2850 fps, 143eldx, 24.3" Sako s20, just under max an wikid accurate. The powder has always worked well in many cartridges plus very good temp stability. Easy to find to unlike the RLs or h1000

58.3 N560 with the 140 elite worked well in mine, 2,950 in a 20" barrel. Lapua brass, F210M primer. 2.95" COAL

I’m early into my reloading journey but have been playing with 143 eldx and 140 elite hunter. Powder on both is Norma MRP.

Shooting a savage 110 ultralight with a 20” OMR CF barrel. Canned.

Chamber seems tight on this barrel.

140 elites- playing with 55.4 (0.341 group) with avg muzzle velocity of 2992. and 55.6gr (0.431 group). Avg muzzle velocity of 2936.

Hornady 143, my best performance has been 0.735” at 52.4gr at 2835fps.

Really digging the journey on it. And am taking notes on others results since Norma Mrp is no mo.

I just got into the 6.5 PRC a month or so ago. Still breaking in the barrel with factory rounds and will likely end up with the 140 Hybrids, but I do have some of the 143 ELDX on the shelf as well. I'll have to come back and report when I find a combo that works.

Did you end up doing any testing with these combos? I'll be doing the same when mine gets back from the smith.
Loaded up H1000 from 55-59gr and N565 from 55-60gr at 1gr intervals yesterday but ran out of time. Headed out tomorrow to do pressure tests and get some basic chrono data. I was using Hornady brass with 57.8gr of H1000 and getting right at 2850-2860 with good accuracy, so that is kind of the baseline.

Got out today and was able to get the tests done, I did make a minor change in the charge weights for the above post, both H1000 & N565 were loaded in increments of 55/56/57/58/58.5 and had mirrored loads with both Fed 210M and Fed 215M primers.

The heat index here in central NC is touching 90 degrees by 8am and chasing 100 by 10am, so the highest charges were reduced for my own environmental reasons. Ironically, I didn’t hit pressure in either load, the 58gr N565/F215M was the only one with an extremely faint hint of ejector mark.

Rifle: Tikka Roughtech Ember, 100% factory
Brass: 6.5PRC ADG virgin, this is first firing
Primer: Both F210M and F215M were tested
Powder: H1000 & N565
Bullet: Hornady 143gr ELD-X
Charge Weights: 55, 56, 57, 58, 58.5
COAL: 2.95”
CBTO: 2.295”
Note:
Fired from low charge (55) to high (58.5)
Shots 1-5 were F210M
Shots 6-10 were F215M

No issues with heavy lift, flat/cratered primers, etc on any of them, just the faintest of faint circle on the N565/215@58gr load. I couldn’t pick it up with my camera despite trying to get the light/angle right.

Hornady book max is 59.0 so going to load up additional rounds for 59/59.5 and see if that hits a pressure threshold, otherwise 10x N565/[email protected] and 10x H1000/[email protected] will get loaded and will see how they shoot. 2925-2950fps was about what I was looking to get for an ideal velocity if accuracy is there.

That's looking pretty good! How many rounds down the barrel, and how did the groups look on the tests? I've found that even a pressure ladder of different charges at 100yds gives a pretty good indication of how well the barrel likes the combo.

Barrel count is 193 after today and sped up a bit around 140-155 or so. All shots were on target, the higher velocities (2840+) seemed to be tighten up nicely. Generally speaking there was a big blob of holes about 1.25” high from previous zero, spread was probably 2-2.5 MOA across all 20.

If it wasn’t so damn hot I would have shot individual targets per group of powder/primer pairing, but it was, so attention to accuracy was low on the totem pole today 🤣
