6.5 PRC powder

Looking for a good 140 accubond load for the wife's rifle. I've been shooting 156s out of mine for years now but first go with the 140 accubonds.

Powders I have plently of and have on hand:
Retumbo
8133
N565
H1000
H4831sc

Brass:
Peterson
ADG

Primer:
CCI200

I feel like I just have too many good powder options here to pick from. Custom build on a Defiance Antix with 22" 7.5t proof. Gun shoots 10 round groups of factory Norma match ammo under an inch. What's the best combo for the 140 accubond? Not chasing speed necessarily. Best combo for most temp stable and accuracy with this 140AB?

Thanks!

Here is some general info but your rifle may like a combination of any of these. Heavier bullets like 156 gr use the slower powders. N570, retumbo, h1000, N565. Lighter bullets use faster powders. H4831SC, H4350, N560. Thats part of reloading we all love. Trying to find that sweet recipe.

Just tried another load in my PRC. 58.3 grains N560, 140 elite hunter, Lapua brass, Fed 210M primer. 2,950 fps in a 20" barrel that only has 30 rounds on it now.
58.0 was 2,936 fps.

RE23 as I've got 7# of it and I'm saving my H1000 for another rifle. I'm seeing 2961 average with 52.1gr.

All the same powders generally keep coming up but has anyone dabbled in Shooters World powders in similar burn rates to the U.S. and VV powders mentioned? Or similar less common powders than the big common manufacturers?

Just posted about my experience with R26, N565 and N560. All were great for a 135-class mono. Also found incredible results with 7828 and H1000 for the 147's, and have some Hammer Hunter 124's going mach 10 into tiny holes using superformance. For context, I am running a 22" barrel and all loads are over 3k fps.

Thank you!

I'm certainly not super new to hand loads but am to the 6.5PRC, nice to hear you had results with 7828 as I have plenty! I'm also in a 22" and excited to break the 3k mark.

Thanks again!!

I had early pressure with 7828 and 127 barnes LRX, it'd nice to know it may work with the heavies.

Is anybody loading Nosler 130AB in the 6.5 PRC? Don't see them mentioned very often and I have had Great results with them in the past in other calibers, both with accuracy and performance. Going to work up a load with some Lapua brass and will be an 21" barrel, hoping to find 3100 fps and sub MOA.
Does anybody have a favorite load they are willing to share?
