6.5 GT

Any chance you're going to try the heavies (153 A-Tips or 153.5 Bergers) in them?
I have like 5000 142 SMKs so that's what I'll be sticking with, I could shoot some 147s for groups and velocity cuz I have a few boxes on hand.
I'm not opposed to testing some 153s for the data though

@TripleOption
I found a handful of 156 Bergers and gave them a run.
34 grains N150 with .035 jump ( the only depth I tried) shot really good. Velocity was 2580 with an SD of 6, this is 1 grain below slightly heavy bolt lift.
The cool thing is the 144 and 156 have basically the same bearing length so they seat above the shoulder junction.

I also played with the 147 eldm and it's looking like a solid option as well, I had to adjust the G1 to .650 though to match my drop at 1k.
I'll test it more in the future but for now I have to focus on getting a load proofed with 144 lrhts for the MDT Hunter match in Canada next week.

The 144s are kicking ass at 2680 with an SD of 9, I only had a chance to shoot 12 rounds at 830 yards last night but they're literally impacting within inches of the same point shot after shot.

I'm on the outs with the 142 SMK they just don't shoot consistently enough in my barrel

The 144LRHTs are magic in my wife’s 6.5x47 Lapua and my 260AI. Extremely consistent BCs out to past 1300 yards.
They shoot awesome in my 65cm at 2740. I wonder how they do on game, might be a good option in my 22in 65saum that's getting cut next week.

My wife shot an antelope last season at 320 yards with her 6.5x47. 1st shot was slightly back due to a bad spotter wind call 🙄.

Second one was right through the top of the heart. Both passed through with golf ball size exits. Internals were mush.

I've made a few kills with them and other VLD target bullets, personally I wasn't happy with the inconsistent wound channels or lack there of at times.
The VLDH lineup has been way better in my experience

Had a great time shooting with our cousins to the North at the MDT Canadian Hunter match.
Despite a few dismal stages I managed to place well enough to win $1100 worth of merch..
I told wifey that my obsession is starting to pay for itself and she just rolled her eyes :)

Here's a few pics from the match, awesome course of fire.
The chainsaw prop was the shit!

The chainsaw in the tree is doing it for me. Unless you’re selling something or working in the industry, breaking even on match shooting is about as good as it gets.
