6.5 Creedmoor ammo help

Guys, can I get a little direction here. I own one 6.5 CM. It is a Barret Fieldcraft. I have never really enjoyed it like I do my 6MM varieties. So it sits. And I've ignored every 6.5 discussion here.

I'd like to give it another shot before I give it away or sell it. Can anyone point me in the right direction for loaded ammo? Is Hornady 147 ELDM the "standard" (aka Black Hills 77TMK for 5.56) for this cartridge? Or is there another gold standard that universally shoots well with smaller deviation in velocity?

I'm sorry if this has been asked. I use the search function quite often. I just want to know if I can like this gun.

My fieldcraft really liked Berger factory ammo - specifically the 135 classic hunter and the 130 OTM hybrid.

Every 6.5 creed I've been around has spot the hornady match well, 140, 143, and 147. Ive used the 140 to shoot steel at 1k to good effect and taken game at 375 with it.

While I agree, and I shoot a 90 & 95gr outa 1 occasionally at coyotes, shooting bullets below 135 in the creed defeats the purpose of the cartridge. You wanna sling 100grs, go 6mm, wanna send them fast use a 25-06.
6.5 creed is just the modern 308 match. Its not fast, but it's consistent and well, nothing is fast after 500 yards.

I do not know of a standard in the 6.5CM. In both of mine, every brand shot decent but handloaded ammo really shined. In hunting loads, the 130gr TGK was my best. The 129gr SP was a close second. On the match bullet side, 140 Berger HT and 142 SMK were two that shined.

Factory ammo was similar. The Barnes Harvest and Hornady American were the two best for me.
