Just curious if any of you have used this ammo on game past 300 yards ( in 6.5 cm) It's cheap and shoots extremely in the five or six calibers I've tried but I never really see any mention of it in hunting threads. I've shot whitetail with it out of a 300wsm and it was fantastic .

You should be fine just stick with the heavy grain bullet. 140s should be awesome, I know mine are.

I've had good success with it in a 7-08 out to 300 on caribou. No issues at all. The jackets are relatively thick for a cup and core.

If the rifle shoots them...I'd use them without hesitation.

It'll hit 1800 fps around 525 yards or so, not accounting for various environmental factors. Stay within that limit and it should kill just fine.
