I have some 156's also. I'm going to wait and see how the 147's do at distance. Barrel life being what it is.

Haven’t ran the ELD-M’s in the PRC, but in the 6.5CM they seemed to get erratic somewhere around 7-800 yards.

I run 147 ELD-M's in a 6.5 Creed but haven't shot it past 400 yards. It's running 2680 fps. I wouldn't think I would have problems at 800. Time will tell.

That sounds like an awesome build. I built a saum a few years back and if I’m not mistaken, I shoot around 60 gr h1000. I get 3150 with a 140 ab, 3100 from a 143 eldx with a 25” barrel. I’ve been curious how this wildcat would compare. Plenty of performance for big game and fun to shoot. Keep us updated. Best wishes.

I just bought a 20inch 6.5 Bartlein #13 tonight to put on my origin action. On the fence with a 6.5 prc or going with the 6.5/7. I have a 7 prc and love it.

I die a little bit inside when I see guys put cheap scopes on expensive rifles like this…
I would have to say RIP if you saw the inside of my gun safe. I took a Vortex Gen 2 Razor off of a 300 Norma to replace it with a Arken scope.🤣

How did you end up liking this setup? Stuck between this and a 6.5 SAUM.
As far as the weight and handling it is great 9 1/2 lbs without a bipod. I started out in left field with load development. Settled on H-1000 all loads 66.0 grains and above gave single digit extreme spreads. Shoots in the mid three's or better 3 shot groups. Hits steel with authority out to 400 (as far as I have shot it so far).

Any one else put one of these together I have a tikka action and a barrel that’s about shot out kind of between a 6.5 saum or this. I’m hoping with the extra case capacity I’d hit 3000 with a 156 out of a 20” barrel or so

I am getting 3100 fps from a 22" barrel and 147 ELD-M's. Ran into pressure at 3150 fps. I would say 3000 with a 156 from a 20" barrel is doable. I would look at N-570.

Haha I actually bought an Arken epl4 4-16 for my kids Sig Cross. It's no 2000 plus dollar scope. But it's pretty dang good! At max power you lose some clarity on a cloudy day. Dusk and dawn you lose a little but not bad! I'd buy another in a heart beat.
