5k This weekend

So I left Thursday night & headed to my grandparents cabin for the weekend. My hunting spot is close so I got a nice 8 mile scouting trip in Friday before some of the family showed up that night. We all kind of hung out on Saturday & then today (Sunday) we did a 5k in town. I exercise regularly but I never train for runs. So I didn't expect much, just set a goal of 25 minutes. I finished in 25:56 and won 1st in my age group (20-29)!

Haha, I was waiting for a comment on the cargo shorts...I was getting dressed Sunday morning and said "Oh crap, I forgot my running shorts"!! Those were my step dads and a size too big. Had to improvise!!
