5500 EXO Top Lid?

Was wondering if anyone could tell me if the first gen EXO 5500 top lid was sewn on or was it always a floating lid? Got a pack in trade that's supposed to be a 5500 but it has a sewn on lid, trying to search the old threads but can't find anything, thanks in advance.

About 99% sure the '14 model 5500 had the floating lid while the 3500 was fixed. The 5500 also had a large snow collar attached.

Yea , the 2014 Exo 5500 had a floating lid , the 2014 3500 has the sewn on lid

Don't know about the 5500 but I know that the 2014 3500 was fixed on. Call and ask Steve at s&s archery. He is a great guy to deal with

Thanks, just swapped bags and was expecting a floating lid, sent my 3500 out so hard to tell with nothing to compare. It does look larger but I always thought they came out with a floating lid.
