$500 rifle scope. Best bang for your buck?

To be fair -- they're SFP, with capped turrets and no reticle subtensions. For that money, I'll take a SWFA 6x all day long.

Never had visions of shooting across valleys. The technology wasnt there when i was growing up like it is now. Rangefinders, dialing scopes, fancy long range bullets and fast twist barrels. Am comfy with the old style cause i know it. I shoot MPBR.

You think this is bad, go get on 24hr Campfire. At least things stay pretty civil on here. Over there, a lot of times it's a bunch of 12 year olds having a pissing contest and throwing temper tantrums.
Sounds like I need to expand my horizons, sounds like my kind of place.

I’m always looking for new places to get offended and flex opinions

Capped turrets matter. I want to measure in mils and dial for elevation on every shot. I don’t want to be removing caps to do that.

Why are you measuring on every shot? Why are you dialing elevation on every shot?

You could put caps in your pocket to not lose them.
I searched but I didn't see any “WTB caps for scope” ads.
If you do ever need some they're usually free from manufacturer.
