So my dad got a new muzzleloader last wednesday. So he tried my go too bullet wihch is a Barnes Spitfire t-ez which didnt get good groups at all. So im just wondering what bullet everyone had the most luck with.
Are you using magnum powder charge? (120gr loose or 150gr pellets). My dad shoots a knight disc and he was having issues with magnum loads grouping he couldn't get 3 shots on 12x18 paper so I had him try these sub bases behind the sabot and he put 3 touching with same exact load. I would try these ive had them improve accuracy and velocity on all bullets/sabots

I use them behind a parker match hunter and I'm busting jugs at 600 yards I killed an elk last year at 538 yds with a Parker match hunter 327 gr they will drastically improve accuracyInteresting. Ive never tried sub bases. Ive tried the Barnes TEZ and there was nothing ez about them. Ive killed several elk with the 300 grain expander MZ bullets. Thought they loaded about the same as the TEZs. Although decently accurate I havent been able to make them shoot exceptionally well. May try the sub bases.
Dump that weakest link, the sabot.
Fury bullets just came out with another 50cal product.
