I was in a caribou camp with a dude that had a 50 caliber. I was bow hunting so we had the whole spectrum covered.
Anyway with the gun case this guy had 30 pounds of his 60 pound limit tied up in the 50 caliber....you talk about living close to the bone the week. I am surprised he has two socks. Anyway he killed dandy bull on day one at shopping 80 yards..... another guy said you could read the sunday paper from light coming though the hole in the caribou's lungs ... well that's my 50 caliber story. I arrowed my bull at 62 yards, so was on the long distance team for that trip.
Anyway the guy was cool and good to have in camp.
