Hi. I'm looking for an EDC pack for work. I need to carry a laptop, soft-sided lunch box, water bottle, coffee thermos, and misc items (papers, pens, pencils, phone, etc). I've been doing some research and this pack seems to fit my needs at a reasonable price. I'd like to purchase a Kifaru Urban Zippy or SG Avail, but at three times the price of the Rush 24, I don't think it makes sense for me at this point. Anyone have any experience with the Rush 24? The size should work well for me with my planned items. The 5.11 items I currently own are well made and solid. I appreciate any input. Thanks!

The rush 24 is bomb proof, lots or organization and pockets. I edc it for about a year, the one thing i didn’t like is it was very tactical looking, when I switched jobs into a more of a city area i stuck out like a sore thumb.
I also carried it hunting as a day pack for probably 3 seasons, carried everything fine, busted brush fine, could have been a little bigger for my needs. Overall i liked the pack, only reason i sold it was i like to try out different gear and it got put on the back burner and sat unused, i would rather sell and but more stuff than have a stack of unused things.

Agree with adamm great pack and value. I have the rush 12, 24 and 72. I don't edc any of these for my work but use the heck out of them. The 24 will easily handle your items, the paper items my need a rigid portfolio to keep straight however.

The 12 is my fishing pack, has essentials and layers and is always ready to go. I use the 24 for weekend length trips that don't require professional attire. I can even fit my miniature cpap machine in. The 72 is what I take hunting as my travel bag. I won't list all it can hold but can do a week out if it, minus hunting specific gear of course.

Thank you everyone for taking the time to reply with your experience. Much appreciated!
