Conceived at a lake/trout stream! Remind me not to go fishing with you!

No worries. Somehow, I'm confident that we'd both be lacking that "spark".

My wife actually suggested the middle name/location idea with our first one. She thought it might give the kid a cool sense of place. I told her that Cabin Three was a crappy name.

But then I thought about home waters and the fact that I've been a river rat most of my life. It just seemed to fit. The kids get a kick out of it now. They think it's cool to have their name connected like that.

Like I said, they were all baptised using water pulled through the ice from the lake and pulled from the trout streams in a Nalgene bottle. They were all lulled into sleep in the bottom of a canoe as toddlers. They enjoy new water, new ground, exploring, hunting and camping, but I get a kick out of it when the request comes through to me, "Dad, can we go back to my water?"

Kick around whatever names you come across. See what fits. You'll figure it out.

And don't forget that you get to give them as many nicknames as you want. Have fun with it. They're a trip. Congratulations.

With four, you're going to be busy. You'll have to make a commitment to work to make time to "wet a line".

First of all congrats! I like Piper. I have a son and three daughters, the girls names are Harleigh( she was supposed to be a boy and was going to get my dads middle name, David) so it would have been Harley David, when she came we changed the spelling after my wife's middle name Leigh this got Harleigh. My other is Aspen Sage, after my favorite places to hunt. My little one is Bellamy Tate, wife just liked the name. Good luck in your naming of her!

9 years for me. I've been to Byron many times for outages. Not doing any this year though. If you ever travel to quad or if I go to Byron I'll message you.

Congrats on the wee beastie! She's looking good! Glad all is well. Sorry to hear you got to spend some time in the NICU. That can wear you out.

Keep her in camo!
