I have one of these and a sling on the way from the Black Friday sale, looking forward to giving them a shot. That sss has a permanent place in my pack, it’s been awesome on the ground and in tree stands. Only change I’d make is going with orange next time 😂

What would be a way to put a QD swivel on this bag?
I have an OG sikes sack with a QD and it’s great but this would be a 5oz weight savings.

It comes with a short paracord loop in one corner. I have a short piece of p-cord with a QD on one end and a plastic carabiner on the other for just that. I swap it around bags all the time. I threw something together for an idea in the pic.

Here are some options. If you want a quick customized something, just PM me.

1) I can pick up a swivel with the 45 angle and sew it into a p-cord loop to a length of your choosing.
2) You can tie a swivel sling with a p-cord to the existing loop.
3) Grab a small carabiner/s clip to attach to the p-cord loop.

The waxed canvas is a tiny bit heavier than the cordura, but the cordura should come in at 2.5 ounces +/- .1 ounce.

Something simple, like tie on a cord
😝
Gosh forbid I think of something like that myself.

Some times I think ocd prevents me from seeing the obvious answer.

Have the ultra lite in orange. Left it in my lid all season, carried it all miles and miles, and never second guessed it making the cut every trip.

Sounds good, I'll shoot you a PM tomorrow with my ideas
I think you asked about other fabric for the bag in the other thread, and I responded there with some weights and examples if that helps for your PM tomorrow.

I got mine. Thank you.

It’s the same size as a jellyfish but it feels better. The fabric is easier to grab and the fill is more responsive. The fill in the jellyfish feels like it’s moving all the time. The LS bag fill is responsive and stays put.

I got the standard fill and it was looser than I expected. I probably need an extra fill version for this position.

Thanks! You can tighten the strap some to get a little more compression and height, along with squeezing it like an hour glass shape before putting your rifle on it.

But, adding fill is no big deal.

Love the feel of waxed canvas!

I just got my order. I haven't had a chance to shoot off of it yet but lying down behind my rifle it feels great. I cannot believe how light the bag is too!

Is 2/3 fill more than standard fill?

I'm ordering another one all waxed orange this time and want more fill than standard but not stuffed.
You must be monitoring my order hx. Ordered the brown and orange waxed, turned around and bought an orange waxed.

I also prefer it to the jelly fish for a rear rest, need to try the jelly fish as front rest on the pack as the molinator is usually a little tall

Function doesn’t change, but I like the Jelly fish strap better
