I have two 450s one is on an ar platform the rifle shoots well it is glassed with a 4 power Leupold does very good, the other is a Mossberg Patriot it is glassed with a Leupold 3x9x40 VX freedom with a ballistic reticule regulated to the Hornady black ammo, hole cutter at 100 yards. Added a GLFA break to it nice looking rifle and did not break the bank.

Is this the 450 bushmaster specific reticle? Wondering how accurate that is if so

Yes, the rifle right now is hole cutting at 100 yards off the bench, waiting on my shooting buddy to make a day trip to the longer ranges and will work the rifle out to 300 yards, as this will be ample for where I hunt at. From what I have seen so far, I have no doubts the scope will perform as stated. So far, I am very pleased with the rifle, scope set up. The scope is a pretty simple set up zero the gun and there is a small set screw in the turret (there is a small allen wrench that's included with the scope) once zeroed loosen the set screw and return the dial back to the lowest setting which is 0-1 you are now zeroed at 100 yards as the range increases just dial the turret in a counter clock motion to the corresponding number on the turret, You have to remember the reticule is calibrated for the Hornady black ammo, I re-load all my ammo it is not a difficult task to mimic the load. Just follow the Hornady loading manual.
